Polyfonie uit RUSLAND & FINLAND te horen in de Zuidervermaning te Westzaan. Me Naiset trad samen op met het ensemble Toorama.


The group me Naiset (we women) interpret the vocal Finnish-Finnish * volksmuziek from Finland, Karelia, Ingria, Mordovia and Setuland. Beside collecting, studying and implementation of the traditional repertoire, providing to the members of me Naiset an important contribution to the further development of the tradition. Me Naiset maintain narrow links with the ensemble Toorama from Mordovia, of the authoritative volksmuziekensembles in the Russian federation. Toorama have itself specialized in the polyphony of their thuisland, which they interpret in a dramatic manner.
