For
hams and Scouters interested in portable and mobile amateur radio while
backpacking, canoeing, biking, mountain climbing, caving (spelunking),
bridging (like, from bridges), just walking (pedestrian mobile = PM), and/or
operating from some most unusual locations. Outdoor ham radio operations

HamsEF
is an organization founded after the 11 September 2001 attacks on the United
States. It's name is derived from Operation Enduring Freedom. It's purpose
is to ensure emergency preparedness among amateur radio operators. There
is considerable overlap between HamsEF goals and Scouting's Motto "Be Prepared".
It maintains a homepage and an email List.
