TOP: View of storm on the 5 mi x 1 mi unnamed lake upon which I camped. This photo is from the front of my tent. I had a LOT of wind storms during the three months I spent in Labrador and lost several antennas plus a storage tent until I build a sturdy log-backed windbreak (later picture). BOTTOM: My faithful companion Nuisance in her usual prone position on my bed. She proved to be perfect traveller, riding uncaged in the car, curious as the landscape passed by. She quickly learned there were some forms of local wildlife with which she could tease (the red fox) and some which looked upon her as dinner (black bear). She also learned to unzip the tent door to go in and out as she pleased. She's spoiled rotten.
