Thanks to the generosity of Justin Wright, we will be treated to a complimentary wine bar at our picnic dinner! This fabulous offer came out of the blue. Justin is very successful in the restaurant business in the Syracuse area, running several restaurants and a catering business. If you're ever in Syracuse, check out Pascale's or Justin's Grill.
We want to say a big thanks to Justin, and we look forward to seeing him this June!
The cost to attend the reunion will be $25 per person or $40 per couple. If you have kids you want to bring to the picnic, they will be an additional $10 each (up to and including age 16), and $20 for kids over 16. The cost covers the lunch and dinner, renting of the pavilion, and the postcard mailing. Send your check to Bill Saunders at
to register for the reunion OR you can make your payment online using a credit card, a debit card, or a Paypal account - click here for a special IHS payment page.
The deadline for sending in your check is the 18th of June, just over a week away!
Available only by calling the hotel at (607) 256-1300. Please ask for Teri Keegan and tell her you're attending the IHS Class of '73 Reunion and that you heard about the special $99 grand opening rate.
June 10, 2008: 45 classmates for a total of 73 people have paid their fee and are registered for the reunion. They are marked (pd) in the picture album which you can find right here! We sent out 375 postcards announcing the reunion.
An informal get-together will take place at the Boatyard Grill on Friday night, beginning at 6:00 PM.
The IHS Class of '73 will be getting together at Cass Park Pavilion, 701 Taughannock Boulevard in Ithaca.
The grill will be ready for lunch shortly after 11:00 AM, and the Hunts will start by cooking hamburgers and hot dogs (included in the fee). If you want any accompaniments (buns will be provided), bring them along.
Dinner will be served at 4:30PM, and will consist of barbecue pork, barbecue beef, with barbecue sauce on the side; rolls and salt potatoes; tossed salad with assorted dressings; pasta salad; baked beans; and for desert, Trisha (Salino) Hunt's homemade cookies.
There will be a Complimentary Wine Bar offered during the dinner. This generous donation was made by Justin Wright, of Pascale's and Justin's Grill fame out of Syracuse.
Besides the wine, we won't be providing beverages - you're on your own in that department (BYOB). The party will go on until 9:00 PM
