Stage at Jacobs Music
in Willow Grove

Hello Hugh,

First of all - thanks so much for helping us with the lead to the Sharp projector. From our research, this seemed a good solution for our needs, and you helped us to find an excellent price and a reputable dealer on eBay. This went very well and we have tested the projector briefly... excellent images - it should be fine for presentations, as well as for experimenting with music visualization.

I'm very interested in exploring this - one basic approach might be to use a music visualizer such as "G-Force" sampling live audio. G-Force has a nice user interface in addition that allows quite a lot of control in addition to the audio signal.

We had a chance to get the measurements for the stage at Jacobs Music. The stage is only about 12 feet deep, so rear projection at a distance of 30 feet is not possible. Might it be possible to use front projection? The auditorium itself has plenty of depth for this, as long as shadows would not be a problem. Below is a rough drawing I made of the stage, and the dimensions should be pretty close (as long as I can rely on the ceiling tiles being 2 ft x 4 ft, which I think is correct). I have also attached a few photos from a simple cell-phone camera, hopefully this will provide some idea of the space.

We will extract the logo that Lydia mentioned that you needed and send it in a separate email.

Best regards and thanks again!
John Baxter
