~White Room ~
White Room was an artwork about a room and a record of my time there. Part diary, and part detective investigation, it included both my own activities within the room, as well as the tiny details– the wet patch on the ceiling, the dents in the steal grate surrounding the radiator – that hinted at the rooms history. These were presented as diagrams, simplified, exaggerated, sometimes abstracting them completely from there origin.
White Room also included a recording of the tube journey I took each day to the room during that year. The following year I made the video from still phots and soundtrack. Click here to see the video (Quicktime22MB).
