After all this snow and cold, I'm ready for some spring, so I've been painting myself one - Crocus ATC/ACEOs. Each one is 2-1/2 x 3-1/2 and painted in a variety of mediums and styles. Just experimenting and having fun. Happy Spring!

I thought I would try painting some tiny works in bookmark size.

I did a 3-day workshop with Jack Pardue and here are my efforts. It was challenging, but I think I may have learned something :)

This is a nice relaxing little painting I did. Working with the soft colors and the swirls of the shell was very soothing experience. I should do more of these, for myself, since it was so stress relieving. :)

This is the new painting i'm working on. It is on a new paper I'm trying, Wallis sanded. It acts very differently than the Canson Mi-Teintes I've been using. It's like learning how all over again. I'm doing it to post on an artist network website for a painting challenge "All media paint-off" the subject for Dec/Jan is "Favorite Toy"
