A few photos from San Jose

People tell me I'm always so down on San Jose. Well, it's true. I really miss Atlanta a lot (sometimes also Vienna) and there is indeed not that much to do here. However, there are nice places in San Jose too (and I sure DO love the weather!).
Here are a couple of photos. This is by no means a complete collection of nice places. There are many more -- nature itself has a lot to offer in this area. The Bay area is great for hiking and many outdoor activities -- especially if you don't mind driving over an hour to get there. Well, everything seems to be at least an hour drive in CA, even the coffee shop around the corner :(

By the way: The small white building shown in one of the photos is the Peralta Adobe, the oldest surviving building in San Jose. San Jose was the first city in California, by the way, founded 1777, which is very early for the west coast. Adobe systems, just a couple of blocks away from the Peralta Adobe is supposedly named after that building.
