Kaji: "No, I meant myself."

Misato: "And the others . . . am I right? You aren't interested in them but you want their attention. You really are just like my father...."

Kaji: "I see. I'm . . . honored."

Misato: "By the way, the only reason I meet with you is to try to squeeze more info out of you about what's happening."
Kaji: "Did you really come to see me just to learn that?"

Kaji: "It would be my honor to be used as my lady's cat's-paw, but I can't tell you right now."
Misato: "I just want you to know what I want. What are NERV and Commander Ikari really planning?"
