After many hours of "blocking and priming" which I now understand mostly involves sanding, the first parts are painted red. These photos were sent on the second week of September. After the individual parts are painted, they have to be re-mounted on the frame. I still hope that I can pick it up in two weeks. After all, what more needs to be done? Paint the outside, gas it up and let's go!
By October we are still working on the exterior paint. It seems that it gets cold in Fargo, the surface needs to be perfect ... I am quickly learning that restoring a vintage car is not a speed event.
