Here's a tip from
a Voodoo 3 user regarding the FA-18 Hornet Korea game.... "what works
for Korea
is
Mac OS 8.1
with
B11
drivers.
If I
want to
play Korea,
I reboot
into
the
8.1
drive.
OS 9 works fine with b11 drivers, but I have problems if I try to run
Korea from OS 9 with b11. I found that out *after* I'd updated the
VooDoo3 card to B12" 07-30-03
Added Game Wizard files and Voodoo 2 beta drivers. Also a note on
mac3dfx page states that the OpenGL 1.2.2 that gets installed
with Mac OS 9.2 is incompatible with Voodoo cards, and to use 1.2.1
instead. Also disabling the ATI OpenGL Extension if you want the
Voodoo card to handle OpenGL games.

06-20-02 I see that someone put this page's address on MacUpdate heh. Just
wanted to say that I haven't had a Mac Voodoo card for quite awhile so I
don't know how well the drivers work today (this page has been up since 3dfx
folded). And of course that they are not for OS X. Both
the Beta13_c3 voodoo 3 drivers and the MacVoodoo 113b were unreleased drivers.
If I recall correctly, the Beta13_c3 were the last Voodoo3-only drivers before
they came out with the unified ones and the 113b's were leaked right before
3dfx closed its doors. Have fun! Hope they work for you!
