So this week our lecture was on
posing. Carlos Baena led us through some awesome tips on what to think about
when posing our characters not only from a technical point of view, but also
through a compositional point of view. It was very informative. It's unreal how
much thought goes in to posing characters. As animators we are storytellers, and
we must therefore make sure our poses read instantly and convey the story points
that we want.
Also
this week we had to take our shot from the planning stage to Blocking. I am
still trying to figure out my workflow, but I decided to kepe my blocking in
stepped mode. Anyways, here it is.
