Week 10- Final Personality Walk and Exhausted Pose

Man, what a week. This personality stuff isn't as easy as some may think. But it was fun and great experience nonetheless. I had many ideas for this assignment, from initially doing a walk with Ballie coming in off screen right slowly,l knees trembling, then as if he heard a loud sound, he would do a take and run off screen. I was going to do that, but it was a bit much to handle, and I gotta remember the age old phrase mantra of AM.... Keep it Simple Stupid! Then I wanted to do a walk where Ballie comes in off screen right and slides into frame, and then proceeds to do a cool walk back the same way. I actually did a grease pencil test of this which I posted a few entries back on my blog, and it came out good, but I had to keep it even more simple! So I ended up doing the cool walk you will see below. I wanted to retain the snappiness of the motion from the initial blocking, and I think I did a good job with that. The knee popping I think will always be an issue for everyone though. It is one of the things we should deal with last, but it is definitely the hardest part to work on. Also for this week I did an exhaustion pose. It is hard to do poses with this single character alone, or without a prop, but sometimes a prop or another character will help it read better. Bottom line.... Keep it Simple Stupid!
