Week 6- Tailor Animation and Revision of Obstacle Course & Devastation Pose

Oy!!!! What a week. OVERLAPPING ACTION!!! Craaaazy stuff. I had a bit of a tough time with applying overlapping action to the 3D world. I understood the concept but it was just tough to apply it. Luckily my mentor Steve provided me with some great notes to help understand it better. Thanks Steve. I also attented an extra help Q&A session this weekend with Michelle Meeker. She was very nice and she further explained overlapping action by imagining that a train's cars were going over the hills (arcs) and how one follows while the other leads. It was a good way to think about it.
So, I did a few different attempts in planning out my animation for this week. I first did a very rough pass for timing in Maya with the Grease Pencil Tool. I then did a pass in Flash by simply drawing with the paintbrush tool, allowing myself to visualize the flow of the tail a bit better (spacing here was not takin into much consideration since I didn't have so much time to do all the inbetweens by hand.) Then I input in all that knowledge into Maya, and came up with something which I think is pretty decent compare to my initial attempts where the tail would turn out stiff.
Wow, I can't believe it's going to be week 7 already! We've learned so much in such a quick amount of time, I can't even imagine what the other semesters are gooing to be like. AM is the shiznizzle!
