William H. Lunn, Charlotte Lunn Georgeson and Joseph S. Lunn's Family History

This camp on Goodyear Lake near Oneonta, New York is where Joe, Charlotte and Bill at camp in 1991.
we all spent many peaceful days. Our family has vacationed here
since
1932 and at various times it was a great place to enjoy
clambakes, fireworks, ice skating, horseback riding, water skiing,

sailing, boating, canoeing, fishing and swimming. Originally
bought
by our father's ice company about 1917, it was the site
of the ice
house described in his diary. The family continues to
spend time
here each summer.

There is a 2 mb music clip attached which will download slowly if you don't have a broadband connection. The control for the music is at the bottom.

Since retirement in July 1996 I have been working with great enjoyment on this illustrated history of our ancestors, cousins
and descendants and hope you will derive as much pleasure from perusing it as I have in creating it.     Much of the information
has not been verified by me so it should be looked at with skepticism.

There are obvious instances in which dates do not make much sense. I have primary sources for the Lunn line. Also I believe
that the information about the ancestors of Coriolanus Scott Hanks furnished by Corinne Diller, and the books about the
descendants of
Hezekiah Gregory, the descendants of Stukely Westcott, and the ancestors of Hanna Amanda Gump are accurate.
Information about individuals with no sources noted almost always comes from family records. Individuals who are not direct
ancestors are included because they illustrate interesting facts or relationships, e.g. to Benedict Arnold and George Washington.

All of the surnames of our ancestors are in UPPER CASE LETTERS so that when browsing one can determine if an individual
belongs to our direct line. Note that in the index, surnames that are capitalized are at the beginning of the listings for each letter
of the alphabet followed by those names in lower case.  References are at the end of each person's page and clicking on these
will take you to the source page. Some of the URLs of individual web pages change occasionally so I have placed a link to the
index or surname page next to the individual page URL. If the specfic link is incorrect you can go to the index page to find the
individual. Details about the various sources including Web sites, books and pamphlets are found
here . To examine our family
begin with
SURNAMES or index of PERSONS.

I am especially grateful to Corinne Hanna Diller who supplied me with most of the data for the Hanks line, to Susie Denes for the VanHorne line and to Charmaine Novko Telles for the Novko line.

My first wife's (Janet Novko) ancestors, the VanHorne and Novko Family History are in this version.
