Being duly sworn says - I am a practicing physician & have been for 50 years I was acquainted with Wm. Lunn applicant for a pension previous to his enlistment & knew nothing to the contrary but what he was a healthy sound man & free from the chronic diarrhea - I treated him for said diarrhea right away after his discharge in June 1865 & found him to be badly afflicted with said diarrhea & I have treated him all that medical assistance would do him any good every since continuously year to year and know that he is now troubled with said diarrhea to such an extent as to greatly unfit him for manual labor and has also brought upon him the sleepy lethergy and from knowledge of him from continuous treatment I consider the said Wm Lunn to be entitled to a pension & have no interest in his pension claim.
