GENERAL AFFIDAVIT.

In the matter of claim for Edward H. Lunn 1 Btty. Wisc. Lt Arty Personally came before me, a Clerk Dist. Court in and for aforesaid County and State, G. D. Johnson, Sherriff, and R. A. Larimer and Co. Judge, aged 42 and 53 years respectively, Post Office, Ashley N.D. - persons of lawful age, who being duly sworn declare in relation to the aforesaid case as follows:
That they have been personally acquainted with Edward H. Lunn since Jany 1, 1887 while he was driving Stage from Ellendale to Ashley from July 1, 1887 to July 1, 1890. and from that time to the present time as Stage driver carrying the U.S. Mail from Ashley to Wisock, S.D. and as Deputy Sherriff of this county.
That during all that time he has suffered with pain in his head, sick Back and Knees.
The pain in his head caused dizziness, and much suffering. The injury to his back and side caused pain and Weakness. His Knees were weak and painful and frequently swollen.
During all this time we have known him he has not been able to do any hard work, could only do light work such as driving Stage and driving teams ____ ____ and like work as Deputy Sherriff.
That he has not been able to perform more than one forth of an able bodied man's work since we knew him.
 
We further declare that We have no interest in said case, and are not concerned in its prosecution.
