In the matter of claim for Invalid Pension 261859 of Edward H. Lunn, 1st Batty Wis Lt. Arty Personally came before me, a Notary Public in and for aforesaid County and State, Edward H. Lunn, aged 48, P.O. Ashley, N.D..

 

A person of lawful age, who, being duly sworn, declares in relation to the aforesaid case as follows:

That to the best of his knowledge and belief, disease of heart and varicose veins of right leg. Was contracted in the fall of 1864 while on march from Baton Rough, La. to Pascagoula Miss.

That disease Piles was contracted in February 1864 at New Orleans La, while in the service with his Battery.

That to the best of his knowledge and belief said disease of heart and Piles are of a permanent charachter.

That the diseases above set forth were contracted in the line of duty- as a soldier, and were not caused by vicious habits.
