'aluSTAND'

Here's the second prototype. Needs dismantled and polished up, but hopefully presentable enough. This one puts the keyboard back down on the desk and protects the Newton from scratches.

Prototypes 1 and 2 together. Smaller, still fits in the keyboard case + dongle
Rounded edged plastic rollers have been added to protect the desk and Newton
Stand at steepest angle. Note long removeable pin to set angle
Stand at steepest angle. Roller flips out and locks as shown
Stand at shallower angle. Location of pin holes subject to some fine tuning
Newton in place, landscape
Same, but steeper angle. Most likely set-up for me
View from side. More stable than it looks!
View from rear. Note rounded plastic roller supporting Newton
The shallow slot on the Newton rests on a roller. (a bit squint!)

Roller also supports Newton in landscape position, lefthanded...
...or righthanded
Keyboard tucks in tightly under stand to reduce footprint
