Yucatan Road Trip Part 2 / Michaele & TurtleJuly 2000 - We were on the toll road from Chichén Itzá to Cancun doing about 70 miles an hour in the right lane when I spotted this turtle in the fast lane. I stood on the brakes and we ran the 250 yards back to this guy. We think that the pavement heat had gotten to him and he was just going to sit there. However, once Michaele picked him up he let us know that he'd like to be put down so we got him off the road. |
