Volunteers Needed

The PTA offers many opportunities for parents to become involved in the schools. Volunteer opportunities range from one hour to two-year commitments and everything in between. Parents can volunteer by contacting Michelle Swenson, the PTA President, or the people listed below. Throughout the year PTA volunteer opportunities will be announced in the PTA monthly newsletter and on the website. Thank you!


Teacher Appreciation Lunches
The PTA holds two Teacher Appreciation Lunches in May - one at the RJH and one at the RES. If you would like to be involved in either of these events please contact Michelle Swenson at mmswen@myfairpoint.net.


Spaghetti Dinner
The Spaghetti Dinner is typically held in the early spring. Many volunteers are needed to make the dinner a success. Contact Eileen McGrath at enmcgrath@gmail.com or Gina Kohlhase at regina.kohlhase@comcast.net for more information.


Father-Daughter Someone Special Dance
The Father-Daughter Someone Special Dance is held every year in May.  It is a fantastic event organized by the PTA as a way of getting together the girls of RJH and RES with their Dads or other special male person for their big night of the year. Mother-Son/SomeoneSpecial Hike
The Mother-Son/Someone Special Hike is a very popular event held at Mt. Agamenticus every June. All the boys of RJH and RES are welcome to come and hike with their moms or other special female adult.
