| Visting the Likers
On our way to the Kingdom Conference we got to visit Deb and Jesse and Emma! We saw "The Boat House" and got to ride on their boat. We saw some of Emma's rehersals for her play and hit some golf balls with Jessie. We all had SUCH a great time.
On the way home Jeff saved Lua whose flight got cancelled by picking her up at the Detroit airport and taking her home to wait for her flight the next day. We got to visit Jeff and everyone on Monday and I got to play with his new TiBook computer.

Kingdom Conference |
| The Baha'i's only hold a national conference every 10 years or so. This time we ALL got to go (Thanks, Marian). This picture was taken the 1st day, before Lua flew in to join us. |
10,000 Baha'i's from all over! Lots of old friends and new ones. Lots of smiling and crying and joy! Lots of walking and sitting and wandering... not much sleep. :-)

Between Deb's house and the Conference we stopped in Wilmette to pick up Jason where he is volunteering at the Baha'i House of Worship for North America. A beautiful, spiritual place open to anyone. A gift from the Baha'is to the world. Jason really likes being there. On the way home we stopped there for a ceremony commemorating Baha'i Martyrs and had Lunch from a nice vegetarian Restaurant in Evanston.
