Astro Images by Jason Providakes

Hello and welcome to Asto Images by Jason Providakes.  I have photographed the Night Sky since 2005 using various telescopes and instruments.  To include Meade Instruments Telescopes, Celestron Instruments, RCOS, TMB, SBIG, FLI, etc.  My current setup is a RC 14.5 inches f7.9 and TMB 175 f/8 mounted on a Software Bisque Paramount ME robotic telescope mount.  In the Spring of 2008 I completed a dome roof observatory that houses my telescope and instruments.  The original observatory was a roll-off roof design, but converted to a dome to allow remote operations and a better environment for CCD imaging.  The "Jason Providakes" images on this site are the end result of many late nights and hard work - and lot of patience from my wife April.  All the images are CCD camera based - I began CCD imaging with an SBIG ST2000 camera .
