Basic Proposal 1
Taking the preliminary brief as a departure point for basic volumetric schemes, this basic layout keeps the original profile line of both Gallowgate Rd. and London Rd. , leaving a central free space that can be used as a transition between public and private activities.
The intention of leaving both ends open towards the newstation reception area and Moir St. can help to bring the activity of the public areas into the housing scheme, but in this scheme a control space is still required to avoid usage and privacy conflicts.
