Information Management on the Internet
The Internet opens a new way to manage design information, linking different time-zones and countries; collaborative efforts between different design professionals can be achieved, reducing working costs and time schedules. This consequence can redefine the nature of the design process, it's going to become more universal, standarised and participative, as the Internet is used more an more as an information sharing tool. It is normal to expect a new kind of architectural practice, more fragmented and flexible, able to develop comissions in different contexts, and gathering on site information (cultural, technical, social, etc.) and professional input from local sources, always through the Internet.
