Japan-Korea Life Mask 2002
In the autumn of 2000, the first year of the Japan-Korea Life Mask Project,
a permanent display of Korean and Japanese childrens' Life Masks was installed
at the Himeji Children's Center (Hoshinoko Yakata) in Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture.
The title of the piece is
'Hikari no Kakera' (or 'Ray of Light'),
and inspires a message of hope for the future of our youth.
