Peace Mask 2004 Home
The Okayama Prefectural Museum, Japan
A Peace Mask workshop was held at the Okayama
Prefectural Museum on the 27th and 28th of July, 2004.
An exhibition of the Peace Masks was then held until August 15th.
With the help of twenty volunteers, fifty-nine Peace Masks
were created during the two days of the workshop.
This is the most number of masks ever completed in such
a short period of time.
The Peace Mask Project greatly appreciates
the efforts and spirits of the volunteers and
the coordination and support of the museum administration.
Special appreciation is given to Mr. Kou Hirohata,
the project director, for his direction and assistance
in completing a highly successful workshop and exhibition.
