Done in the thinking
Long before the doing
The idea forming itself
Into its own reality
Played out to a million
Different conclusions
From sublime to ridiculous
And all things in between
The contemplated action
Not judged by its result
The end game not the point
The point the thing itself
Life altered in the risk
Nothing ever to be the same
Time enough to do what was
Done in the thinking
