Aware of what is to come
No way to bring it faster
Thoughts swirling around
Increasingly desirous
Champing at the bit
Interested and intense
Preparing for the future
Alert to every clock tick
Time passing ever so slowly
Impossible to stand more
Or so it surely seems
Nothing to do but wait
