I Walked To The End Of The Earth

I walked to the end of the earth
And jumped off
I fell slowly at first
Drifting like a leaf in autumn
Only to pick up speed
Racing past planets
Shooting past stars
Leaving my world
My life
My very breath
Far behind
And after falling forever
I fell back to earth
Landing in the same spot
From which I had jumped
