Silver Lining

Silver lining
Shining iridescent
All the brighter
For the inky blackness
Of the cloud so sudden
On the horizon
Rising to blot out
Sun and moon and stars
Easy to get lost
In the darkness
To collapse beneath
Its dark weight
Until lifted heavenward
By the glowing power
Of the silver lining
