One kilo of cat
Weighed at the vet
Pronounced to be
Two point two pounds
Bigger every day
A bundle of energy
Leaping and exploring
Everything brand new
A black ball of fur
Wrapped around a purr
Nothing for us to do
But laugh and play
With one kilo of cat
