Neighbors are neighbors
But it is something special
When your neighborhood
Includes tigers and pandas
And other animal friends
From halfway around the world
Seen not just once
In a rush to see it all
But time and again
In sunshine and rain
Morning afternoon and night
Summer winter spring and fall
Watching families grow
And babies grow up
Knowing their habitats
And their daily habits
And even being able to tell
Just who is in a good mood
