A Quiet Space

A quiet space
Carved out of a busy day
In the midst
Of hurry and scurry
And so much going on

Just a moment
Of solitude
Wrestled boldly
From the screaming hordes
Who want so much

A little trip
Into the still depths
Of an inner peace
That can not be disturbed
By anyone or anything

A quiet space
Just a moment
A little trip
And all the world
Begins anew
