I Laughed To See

I laughed to see
His self-portrait
Presented so proudly
Yet not the face I knew
For the nose in the picture
Was long and thin
Comically pointed
Nothing at all like
His small button nose

I laughed and looked
From his picture to his face
Only to be caught short
By his nose
Now long and thin
And comically pointed
