Stringing Beads

Stringing beads
With patience and care
My words march
From keyboard to page

I watch the pattern
Emerge bead by bead
Sometimes what I intended
Othere times unexpected

Without warning
The string may break
Or I may have to pull
Them all and begin again

Sliding first this bead then
That one down the string
Until it completes itself
And I tie the final knot
