Project 2: An interactive multi-media DVD
This project will be due, on DVD format and presented on Monday, December 19, 2005, 12-1:45 pm.
Requirements
I expect to see the following in your DVD project which includes turning it in with a DVD face label on them:
- A main menu with 1) a motion and/or static background with audio 2) linking to 1 track that includes video and audio, and (3) linking to a slideshow.
- Though these are the bare requirements for this project, it is encouraged that all of you include some of the more advanced techniques and topics we have covered during the second part of the semester like using AfterEffects or Motion to create your DVD menu, overlay buttons, subtitles, video and audio streams, chapter markers, menu and track transitions, and DVD @ccess features to name a few.
Presentation
Your project will be presented on a DVD-R that has been fully tested and functional and with a DVD face label printed on it 12/19/05. The DVD itself should also be titled.
Everyone will show their work for about 5 minutes, and have 3-5 minutes for questions and comments. How closely we stick to the schedule will depend on how prepared each of you are to present. Your presentation should cover your goals, process and creative techniques. Again, this is to share what you've learned with the class.
