Youngstown & Southern Photos
(and other tidbits)
Growing up in the Beaver Valley area, I had a fascination
with the local railroads. When I was in high school, I also had a fascination
with photography. the vast bulk of my photography was in black and white,
and concerned non railroading subjects. However, I did enjoy doing some rail
fanning, and shot a fair amount of railroad-themed photos. Unfortunately,
through the years, I seem to have lost or misplaced the vast majority of
them. I have managed to save a small number which, for some reason, I though
more worthy than the rest. Of that small number, I have managed to scan a
few into my computer. What you will find on these pages is the last remnant
of this. I also was able to take a few hours driving the route of the Y&S
in the spring of 2001 with a (very) cheap digital camera. These pages also
contain the record of that ride. So, without further ado...
