Our main concern is for your guinea pigs' welfare. We only take a few boarders at a time, so your piggies can have some personal attention every day.

The hutches are checked and spot-cleaned daily, renewing hay, food and water, with a thorough clean-out at least twice a week.

We use a product called Aubiose, which is made from hemp, on top of thick newspaper and topped with hay inside the hutches. Straw is used as an added insulator during the winter months and hutches will be covered with blankets at night.

Your guineas will be groomed as required – daily for long-haired piggies and nails can be clipped if requested.

We also offer a pampurring service if time permits.

We request that you bring your own guinea pig's dry food for consistency.

Fresh fruit/veg is given twice a day unless you specify otherwise. Readigrass will be given when fresh grass is not available in the winter months.

Please advise of any special dietary requirements at the time of booking. You will be asked to sign a form detailing any special needs.
