Vrrrrm VrrrrrmI'm looking forward to my imminent return to the
UK for the holidays. Plans are being made, diaries are being marked, and I may
even have an extra special
guest.
Last Friday we had our department Christmas party. I tell you, it's a long way from the traditional celebration back in Critical Care. We'd start at the pub at 11 am, have a big lunch and then digest it with more and more alcohol until about 4. Then decant to another pub and carry on the booze. Well, here in San Diego they don't know what pubs are, and as everyone has to drive, getting shitfaced is probably not wise. So we have potlucks. And everyone brings their kids. It's very odd. Found these on the web. Porsche and Ferrari have released new GT cars for the 2004 season - the GT3 RSR and 360 GTC:
So if anyone wants to know what to get me for my birthday, there you are. I think it's good that both factories have decided to eschew the world of sports prototypes, instead selling cars similar to those we see on the roads. Big and mean with no sound deadening and lots of carbonfibre. Just wish I had one in my garage, that's all. Posted: Mon - December 8, 2003 at 04:12 pm |
