Well it's been a while. But I've been busy.
I recovered from back surgery without problems. In fact, I recovered remarkably quick. I was walking the same day of surgery and was off pain medicine in about a week.
Then I worked at Apple Computer for a few weeks and helped open the Oklahoma City Apple Store at Penn Square Mall. That was so freakin' awesome. It was the best job ever. Which is why it was so hard to leave.
But I did leave. My last day at Apple was October 8th. Two days later, Susan & I (with quite a bit of help from our families) were on the road. After a stop in Kansas City, her parents helped us travel cross country to New Jersey.
We arrived on Friday October 14th, just 3 days before I started my new job at Gameloft in downtown Manhattan, NYC. It was a crazy busy weekend. But we managed to move everything in (even in the rain) and get me ready for work on Monday. The last week has been hectic. My job was hard at first, we've been busy every night unpacking, and I haven't gotten enough sleep. But those things have changed. I'm figuring out things at work. We're pretty much done unpacking. And I slept in a bunch this weekend. Life is good.
