Long story short:
Microsoft flew me out twice for 2 separate on-site interview days in Redmond, WA during the last month. After much waiting, the answer has finally arrived. Unfortunately it was a no thank you.
While this isn't good news, at least the waiting and uncertainty is over. And the really good news is: I have other options still developing. There is more than one company still interested. So I'm gonna take an hour and get over this. Then I'm going to move on and continue the hunt.
