::Flurry of information::
Late Saturday night, I got back from 2 1/2 weeks of living out of a suitcase. Lemme tell you, that got old...
But it was still fun! Georgia was cool, and then I spent a week on the other coast. I was in San Francisco for an entire week at Apple's WorldWide Developer Conference. As always, that was lots of fun. Apple is switching to Intel processors in the next 2 years! Crazy! You probably don't care but its significant for many reasons. Reasons i won't bore you with. Just understand Apple is preparing to attack on all fronts.
I did some sightseeing (Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Warf, took a trolly!, Ocean Beach) which was cool. We also had a very private concert by the Wallflowers at the Apple campus in Cupertino, CA. That was sweet!
Now that I'm back, there is BIG news on the job hunt. I have an on-site interview next tuesday in Redmond, WA. They're paying for everything including airfare, hotel, rental car, expensive meals, room service, etc... As nice as that all is, I just want to concentrate on doing well and getting an amazing job. Pray, cross your fingers, and stay tuned!
I went swimming yesterday with Carrie and Kate and then played golf with Dad, Carrie, Daniel, and my ancient friend Clif who I haven't seen in years. It was really cool just catching up.
I like my new surround sound system. 800 watts is NICE. It brings me immense joy.
Lastly, I'd like to mention that Yogurt Flipz (Pretzels covered in TCBY yogurt and chocolate swirl) are dangerously addictive! You should try them, but you've been warned.... |
