| May has sure been busy! Of course the biggest news is I GRADUATED!!! Yay for me! |
Graduation was fun, my whole family came up to Chicago. For Kate it was her first time. For my mom it was her second. I know it was a lot of trouble for people to make it so I just wanted to remind everyone that I really appreciated everything they did. Whether that means driving up or sending a card or riding a scary train or whatever, thanks!
After graduation, we had a good time playing around in Chicago, going shopping downtown, and visiting museums. Carrie, Daniel and Kate stayed a few extra days so I did too. I finished up a programming test for a large company and then caravaned back to Oklahoma with them. When we got back, we celebrated dad's 59th birthday! Happy Birthday dad!
Last week, I traveled to Savannah, Georgia (Tybee Island actually!) for Susan's cousin Vanessa's wedding. I went with her whole family (minus brother John who's at field training) and we shared a beach condo with her uncle's family. That was pretty nice and I spent lots of time at the beach. Of course this means I got burnt. I am irish afterall... it was still fun. The wedding was nice and Susan and I drove the newlyweds to their hotel after the reception. Good times.
Tomorrow I have a phone interview with a huge company (let's just say they're near Seattle... ;-) ) so I'm very excited! Pray for me cause this would be a fantastic job if I can get it!! Stay tuned.
Susan and I took a bunch of engagment photos today so stay tuned soon for a link to check them all out!
Finally, next week I'll be in San Francisco, California for Apple's World Wide Developer's Conference. This is the third time I've gone on scholarship and this time I'm going to go out looking for a job and networking with people. WWDC is always fun and I'm excited to go. Of course, when I get back its SERIOUSLY time to get a job.
