Hello!
I've decided that overall, I'm more of a one-a-week updater. While sometimes I update more and sometimes less, i'm going to shoot for once per week.
If you haven't seen it yet, take a look at this. That's my new software page that I set up for part of my job hunt. Make sure you look at the page about Beacon cause its the coolest. | So anyways, I had a good Easter last weekend. Susan and I flew to Kansas City to be with her family. On Saturday, her parents drove us down to Wichita where we met my parents for lunch at Olive Garden. That was the first meeting of the parents and while Susan and I were both nervous, i think it went fantastic! Everyone behaved and seemed to get along decently. The best part was when we had been eating for about 10 minutes and all of a sudden I spoke up: "Now that we have all of you here together finally, I think its time to talk about one more thing....." Now at this point, judging from how everyone's forks were stopped in mid-air and people's faces looked very scared, I realized how that must have sounded like I was about to announce Susan was pregnant or we were already married or something crazy like that. Actually, I was just trying to get them to talk about the rehersal dinner but it was an entertaining moment to say the least. ;-) |
 Lastly, I leave you with a picture of the church (Valley View United Methodist Church) we're getting married in. Click on the small image to check out the bigger picture so you can see this place. Its got a very unconventional layout, but after talking to the wedding coordinator there, I think its going to turn out very nice.
