World Religions
I know that I should be listening, but this slide
was so funny I thought I'd share...
If you need a crash course on world religions, I
humbly submit the following list:
Taoism
- Stuff Happens
Hinduism – This stuff
happened before
Confucianism – Confucius
say, “Stuff happens”
Buddhism
– If stuff happens, it isn’t really
stuff
Zen – What is the sound of stuff
happening
Islam – If stuff happens, it is
Allah’s will
Atheism – There is no
stuff
Agnosticism - I don’t know whether
stuff happens
Voodoo – Make stuff happen
to someone else
Protestantism – Stuff
won’t happen if I just work
harder
Catholicism – If stuff happens, I
deserved it
Judaism – Why does stuff
always happen to me
If you are lost, just
become a Contemporary Christian - then none of the stuff matter. We just worship
right on through the stuff and don't even think about it. Or something like
that.
