How to secure a building

The military is moving toward a Joint Operations model. This means that all the branches are working together. Just so you understand the issues involved here, note what the order "go and secure that building" means to the various services:

Army: Set a perimeter around the house, set up a check-point, you will need a secret password to gain access. Building is secure.

Marines: They will storm the building, kick the doors in, shoot and kill anything that moves, torch the upstairs and generally destroy any use the building might have had. Building is secure

Navy: The Chief Warrant Officer will lock it up and put the key in his pocket when he leaves. Building is secure.

AF: Negotiate a five-year lease with an option to buy. Building is secure.

And on and on it goes....
