Putting in a low budget Zen inspired organic garden with a sculptural fence in the spring and summer of 2006
  • Here is the garage with apt. above where I lived. My sister Terry lived in the house across the yard. She worked very hard on the garden as well.
  • I made some arches over the entrances.
  • Here you can see the screed ( sifter) That I used to strain the compost pile that sat in the back of the house.

  • This was the first fence I built on the other side of my little house. I planted a Ruta bush in fron and started vines up the fence.
    Under the dead maple I made a herb and flower
garden using the dead wood from the tree.
  • On this side of the fence I planted grape vines
  • The Vines are starting to rise up .
