I was invited to be a visiting artist at the University Of The Arts in the book arts/printmaking department and spent my time in the Borowsky Center for Publication Arts where I created an artist book in an edition of 500. The book was printed by master printer Lori Spencer on a Heidelberg KORS one-color press.
Each texture, as seen on the final page, was printed first in black on mylar using linoleum cut, cut foam rollers, and film pencils. These masters created in my studio were then exposed to the photo emulsion covered plates. Five different colors required five individual press runs for each side of the interior pages of the book. The cover required four press runs, double-sided.
The pages were then trimmed on an electric guillotine and the folding was done by hand at my studio.Twenty percent of the edition was kept by the UArts and I instructed a group of graduate students in the assembly process.
The last one hundred books in the edition are reserved for installations.

500 individual books were produced
