For those of you who are unaware of the fact, ABC is about to air a "docudrama" called "Path to 9/11". It was written by a right winger. It has been sent to right wingers for preview, but moderates and liberals have not been allowed to see it, the better to keep them from exposing the distortions. However, enough information has come out to allow any fair minded person to conclude that it is a right wing hatchet job. It totally distorts the facts in an attempt to blame Bill Clinton for the events of September 11th, while whitewashing or ignoring George Bush's neglect.

You can read more here , here and here. More omininously, it is becoming clear that this is not just an ABC attempt to make money. It appears to be an overt attempt to distribute right wing propaganda and/or an attempt to curry favor with Bush. ABC is planning on giving the show away free on Itunes and wants to distribute it all over the country to teachers with the suggestion that they show it to their students. The Democrats are pushing back. The Democrat who may be the chairman of the House Rules Committee next year is not happy. You can voice your displeasure here and/or here .
